elly Kate is stirring a sound that will thrum in your bones and echo within the chambers of your heart. With haunting lyrics to light the way, she builds layered melodies that swell and descend like the hills she called home. With two full-length albums and four solid tours under her wings, she has nestled herself in Richmond, VA.  In March, her long-awaited sophomore album was released; 'ISH ISH,' was made with two 4-tracks and a reel-to-reel and was produced by Brent Delventhal.  Go see her live performances which have led her to share the stage with the likes of Tune-Yards, DIIV, Frankie Rose, Pattern Is Movement, Pat Jordache, SoftSpot, Tickley Feather, Castanets, James Wallace, and The Extraordinaires.
